Kentucky Heritage & Farm Legacy

Why Boone Trace?

Most farms have a story behind their name. This is ours.

Every farm has a story, and every name carries meaning. When it came time to name our farm, we wanted something that reflected not only where we live, but who we are and the legacy we hope to build.

Boone Trace Creamery was inspired by Kentucky's rich frontier heritage and our family's connection to the historic Boone family. The name pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of Daniel Boone, whose determination, courage, and perseverance helped shape the history of Kentucky and opened the door for generations of families to build lives on this land.

The word "Trace" has special significance. Long before modern highways, traces were the trails and pathways that connected settlements, farms, and communities across the Kentucky frontier. They represented opportunity, progress, and the willingness to venture into the unknown with faith, determination, and hard work.

Those same ideals inspire Boone Trace Creamery today.

Although the tools of agriculture have changed over the centuries, the values that make a successful farm remain remarkably similar.

Woman-Owned Agriculture

Respecting Kentucky's past while building for its future.

As a woman-owned agricultural enterprise, Boone Trace Creamery represents both a respect for Kentucky's agricultural past and a commitment to its future. Our goal is not simply to operate a farm, but to build a diversified agricultural business that contributes to local food production, strengthens rural communities, and demonstrates responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.

Each enterprise has been carefully selected to complement the others, creating multiple revenue streams while maximizing the efficient use of pasture, livestock, and farm resources.

Family Legacy

Growing thoughtfully, with future generations in mind.

The name Boone Trace also reflects our personal commitment to building a lasting family legacy. We hope that the farm will become more than a business. It will become a place where future generations can learn the value of hard work, stewardship, faith, and service to others.

Rather than pursuing rapid growth, Boone Trace Creamery is committed to thoughtful, sustainable development. Every investment, every improvement, and every new enterprise is intended to strengthen the farm for decades to come.

We believe that successful agriculture is measured not only by profitability, but also by the condition in which we leave the land, the quality of the products we produce, the care we provide our animals, and the relationships we build within our community.

Boone Trace Creamery is our opportunity to honor Kentucky's agricultural heritage while creating a modern farm built on timeless values.
